Default Expected Tire Mileage

My '23 Taycan GTS sedan presently has about 9,000 miles and the Continental ProContact RX all season tires are starting to look a bit worn. I'm not really an overly agressive driver and I know that EV's wear out tires quicker than ICE vehicles. I'd be interested in knowing what mileage others getting on these tires before replacing?

My Conti's have over 20k on them and they aren't to the wear bars yet. Front's are getting close, rears seem to be a little better. Although it's my daily, I do drive it like a Porsche frequently enough, G meter shows over 1G lateral.

Don't drive in low mode and keep your pressures on the higher end.

I traded in my 2022 Taycan Turbo S with 16,000 kms and the tires still had enough tread that my dealership accepted without replacing them as they check the tires when trading in.

I turned in my MY21 RWD with 27k miles and the tires were still within lease return spec, which is not generous.

if you can get 20k+ miles from the tires you are doing well

I appreciate the feedback, just wanted to get a feel for what to expect. Sounds like I’m about half way to replacement.

I'm at 13k miles on my 2023 GTS ST on Contis and I still got plenty of beef on them, I do drive a lot of freeways so I'm expecting to get at least 25k+ miles.

What ride height do you typically drive if not low mode?

I have Eagle Touring 19 inch all season tires on my 4 S. For the first several years I used Range mode extensively and only got 12K miles on the front tires and 23K miles on the rear tires. Alignment was checked with each tire replacement. I now use Normal Mode exclusively to see if that helps tire wear. Stay tuned.
