Default Tire Pressure: Full Load vs. Partial Load

I have had my '23 GTS Sedan for about 6 months and have always had the tires inflated to "Full Load" pressures. (21" All Season Tires) I decided to try "Partial Load" as the vast majority of the time I have no passengers and nothing in the trunk or frunk. It does affect the general comfort/handling of the ride (softer) and also seems to produce a bit more tire noise. But, does this affect the mileage achieved (seems like higher inflation would produce less rolling resistance) and/or the tire wear?

I can't answer directly, but can provide this context:

My car's "Energy" screen says that running my tires @ 38 psi costs ~1.3% of total range vs. the suggested 42 psi.

I personally don't care at all about 3-4 miles of range, but I do care about the better ride quality provided by 38 psi.

Have the same tires, set them 42 PSI F/46 PSI R so they don't go over the 50 PSI maximum.
Ride and handling are acceptable, set them that way for maximum mileage.
