Default EV tax credit

Is it just me or does other people have problems explaining to their financial advisor / H&R Block / ... that our Taycans are eligible for the $7,500 tax credit?
(obviously as long as it was purchased prior to the August 16th 2022 deadline)
I've been fighting for a week trying to convince them that I'm eligible for the credit, and they think not....

Is it a 2022 or 3?
The latter isn't listed, but should be.

Yes, I even basically filled it out for my CPA with the VIN#, date of purchase, ... and she's still arguing the eligibility...

Or if you provided the dealer a non-refundable deposit prior to the IRA Bill getting passed in Aug 2022. I was lucky that the Virginia dealer required a $10k non-refundable deposit in June when I took over the allocation (I also have a DocuSign where one page of it is a Non Refundable Deposit Agreement for $10k).

sounds like my in house contract attorneys who want to constantly debate vs. close business. Agree with USC, find a new accountant.

there are income limits in addition to other restrictions like country of origin, consult a well versed professional for better advice

This is not rocket science. And I hope you’re not paying by the hour to educate your CPA.

BTW - no income limits or battery elements country of origin prior to the signing of the IRA.
