it does have a charger installed but it seems to overheat my IPhones and it is in that absurd, hard to deal with console. whomever it was that designed that console should be severely flogged

Yes, but my iPhone 14 Pro camera bump is so big that it does not let my phone sit flat against the Taycan built-in charger so then it does not charge well and gets really hot. And who has time to open the console lid—LOL.

 

Here is what I am using for around $15 for the magnetic charger and less than $1 to 3D print the holder. The holder was designed by a gentleman on Taycan Forums and the .sti file is provided over there. Works well with my mini iPhone.

They should be spanked for the entire center console compartment, stupid door and all. I have been pondering mods to make it useful.

 

the solution for me is to use a USB connection and charge the phone via wire. it isn't a big deal for me because 94% of my drives are shorter rides, I only plug the phone in for extended road trips.

I have no need to always have the phone charging while driving.

 

That look suspiciously like the clip ProClip produced for the Taycan.
