Default Anyone getting Taycan GTS ST Allocations in the US?

I've had a deposit in place since the day of announce last year and was told I was #3 on the list. Frankly, I'm pretty sure I'm #3 because my salesperson didn't put in my order on demand until i reminded him a day later.

That said, I keep getting the story that they are expecting to see allocations next week, then zero response for a few weeks. When I check in, we loop back to the story of allocations coming in a few weeks. This has been the case for the recent 3-4 months now.

I'm seriously considering bailing out given their fairly sh*t responsiveness, and the fact that I could have enjoyed a eTron GT or something else in the meantime.

Anyone else in this position?

They are hard to get. But if you really want to get an allocation and then a car, you must work multiple dealers.

You like Neptune Blue and club leather? My GTS ST is built and at port and I had some other opportunities come up since ordering. Thinking of letting it go.

The Taycan GTS Sports Turismo is one of the hardest if not the hardest cars to get in the Porsche lineup. Apparently, I know of one very large dealership only gets 2 for the entire year.

How long has your GTS been sitting at the port?

I got really lucky, since my SA knew I loved the ST and made sure I got their only allocation. I didn't realize how rare they are, but since I picked it up in July, I haven't seen a single one in the wild, or in dealer inventory in Canada. @Ifinallygotapcar I really wanted Neptune, but my wife hates the colour, so we settled on Gentian. I still think Neptune is the best non-PTS colour available on the Taycan, and it will look amazing with the club leather.

My GTS was also completed on 8/31 and was in transit to Emden until 10/21 and it's been sitting there since then. My YTD says that it'll be on a ship on 12/9....we'll see.

I beg to differ. I think it is Frozen Blue.

I had my name on "the list" since the GTS ST announcement.. and I finally got the call two weeks ago stating I had a build spot! Hoping to receive mine by April/May timeframe.

Got the Porsche code or all the options on it?

Default Update

Just for the purposes of data collection, I dropped a Cross Turismo order (decided that the plastic stuff around the wheels just wasn’t for me, among other things), and got on “the list” for the GTS ST a week before Thanksgiving. At the time, I was told that the wait would be about 18 months. I got a call a couple of days before Christmas that my SA received an allocation for a May build. The only caveat was that PTS would apparently not be available for 2023. I’ll update this as things progress - really does seem like these things are hard to come by.

Last week, I passed on a GTS ST build slot, April delivery. I was second in line starting March 22. Seems allocations are flowing again.

Instead of the Taycan, I got lucky as the dealer offered me a 730 mile MY22 TTS used by PCNA as a track instructor car.

Allocation was MSRP.
