I would've ordered the performace battery for 50 miles, but for 2022 Taycan, the ranges were 200 miles for standard and 225 for performace plus.
I am hoping that the ranges for 2023 are improved.

when fully charged, my Taycan TS shows 245. Is that the bigger pack?

No. EPA rating and the range shown on the guess-o-meter are not remotely the same thing. The EPA test is not all that representative of actual miles achieved for EV's. As they say, YMMV.

I agree 100% to this, if the extended battery gave an extra 75-100 miles then it's worth it, also depends where yoou live, if you are in a rural town it's a concern, if you are in a city with chargers everywhere you will be fine. At some point these cars are like your phone, just charge it every night and go.

Don't forget VW-Porsche has an "exemplary" track record with their published mileage ratings; à la dieselgate.
