Any tips on ordering? I don’t want to walk into the dealership blind.

She’d really like to upgrade from her Audi Q5e and I don’t want to disappoint.

 

Really? My dealer always seem to have at least 1 CPO on the lot. My last 2 custom orders were 7 & 8 weeks order to delivery. Ukraine situation certainly isn't helping.

 

Honestly I want to be wrong! It’s just the impression I got surfing the forum.

 

My dealer has no used Taycans on the lot. Our 2022 Taycan took 6 months from order to delivery.

 

Taycan is lower and has less cargo than a Q5 - orders are hard to find right now so you'll need to call around - the Audi eTron S SUV looks to be an excellent EV - better than the current eTron SUV

I'd get an order sooner rather than later and then just wait - seems to be the way of things for the foreseeable future.

 

on another forum it was stated that there are more than 300 used taycans for sale around the US. do some searching and see what turns up

I would only buy a Taycan new or with a CPO. You can search the Porsche dealerships nationwide for their CPOed cars.

www.porsche.com then click on "Shop" upper right hand part of the screen. Select "New and used inventory" and then click on Taycan. Enter your zip code. (Although that just puts the closer cars to you on top) Then select certified and what model and trim you are looking for.
Keep in mind that the CPO add 2 years to the warranty with unlimited miles and many dealers will also allow you to purchase a CPO +1 for $2700 and that will give you a total of three years.

really unfortunate you cant get massage seats with 18 ways. I had 18 way on a previous 911 and loved them! Hoping its the same on a taycan.

Allocations got a new 4S or GTS are hard to come by right now. And this that are available usually want some amount of ADM. I was just in the market and looked everywhere. There were a few in transit from the factory but all included an ADM except for one and that dealer wouldn’t reserve the car even with a deposit. I personally wouldn’t buy a 2020 and nicely specced CPO 2021s are equally hard to find. I ended up with a new ‘22 Audi Etron GT Prestige and love it.
