I traded my in my 2017 Panamera turbo for a CPO 2020 Taycan Turbo (carrera white/Bordeaux red). It was either CPO or wait a year or more for a new one and I’m happy I took the plunge. This car has been phenomenal. I haven’t been able to wipe the smile off of my face.
It’s wickedly fast. It almost feels too fast when you floor the accelerator. It takes a few seconds for your brain to catch up with how fast you’ve accelerated. The Turbo S has to be on another level. It stops on the same magnitude as it accelerates, likely helped by the ginormous carbon ceramics that are on it. The handling is equally impressive for an over 5000lb car, with direct price steering and a sense of stability that I couldn’t achieve in my panamera when taking curves at high speeds.
just an amazing vehicle. I really wanted a 911 but needed the practicality of 4doors and after a couple of weeks of ownership I have no regrets.
I traded in my 2020 992 C4S for my 2022 Taycan 4S. Zero regrets.
I put more than 35k miles on the 911 in 2.5 years and got darn well near what I paid for it new.
The Taycan steering feel is excellent. Seating position and view over the hood is classic Porsche. Love it. It’s like a 911 with another set of doors. Heck, it even has a motor in the rear. LOL.

Glad you like it. I think it makes the front look a bit clunky. Side and rear look fine but I see why I’ve never seen a car optioned that way. Sorry but that’s my opinion. Thankfully it’s your car.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I think it looks really nice and aggressive. I tend to like a little more aggressive look, especially in gloss black to contrast the carrera white. It’s one of the reasons I think the Taycan GTS looks so nice.
The sport design package appears to be more optioned on the turbo/turbo s models in comparison to the other models. I have yet to see it on a 4S or lower trim.
your avatar appears to have the same front lip as my taycan, which I find interesting given your critique

I think what I don't like is the big air scoops under the lights - I just looks out of proportion and very odd to me. . I sold my 2021 4s for a paint to sample Turbo S which was delivered last week and is currently getting PPF but the front air scoop is different and also made of carbon fiber.
.
I've always been a sucker for red, more specifically the darker burgundy, interiors. My Reatta convertible is arctic white w/garnet red interior and is a great looker. (Though not even close to being a performance car.)
