Default Comments on this build please

Hey gang

so I sold my touring and going to sell my current daily driver and get electric.

I put together this build and would appreciate any feedback.

I intentionally did not add the performance package and sport chrono as this car seems like a sedan built more for spirited driving and cruising more so than sports car driving - but maybe I’m wrong lmk

also I recall seeing an option where you can cause the glass roof to “ fog up “ intentionally to minimize light into the cabin but couldn’t find that option.

thanks all.

I would add:
  • power charge port cover - this is great in that is just closes when you unplug - makes me happy every day…you charge most days - this means you unplug most days - and having it "just close" is one of life's little pleasures for me personally
  • 400V/150 kW charging option - will charge faster at Tesla Superchargers when they are open in the US - otherwise you'll be limited to 50 kW charge speed (90 min stop vs. a 30 min stop when road tripping)
  • wife likes the passenger screen - prefers it to staring at some blank piece of plastic/trim in that spot - nav on this screen is nice with car-play/android-auto on the main screen
  • rear wheel steering makes the car more nimble when parking - this is a good thing - it's a big/long sedan
  • black brake calipers could be nice with this build/color - but the red is nice also - this is a personal preference thing…

I could continue checking boxes - but it's not clear what your goals are - few if any (none?) of Porsche's options make a vehicle worse - and we can go nuts on the cosmetics (seat belt color, different interior trims)

the list I presented was the minimal set of "functional non-cosmetic" changes that I would suggest the vehicle be delivered with - the rest of any changes you want to pursue are either cosmetic only (therefore subject to personal taste) or options that while nice there is some level of "do I really need it" aspect of their existence

personally PDCC - but honestly just check the "performance package" box and you'd be done there - the options included are slightly cheaper if you get them as part of the package…

I also like the following
  • under door puddle lights - it actually is visually nice, but also helps at night in judging distance when getting of the car…
  • PTV - car has a lot of power - PTV should help with controling said power on slippery surfaces (rain and such)
other options get increasingly personal and expensive

makes sense. Imlooking to set it up as a stealthy cruiser that I can throw the kids in the back, with spirited driving here and there, hence no sport chrono etc.

thanks again for suggestions!

Others have made more substantial suggestions.

You are already getting the must have for me
Leather Interior in Black/Bordeaux Red (My favorite color)
Power Folding Exterior Mirrors
Lane Change Assist (LCA)
Massage Seat Function (Front) incl. Ventilated Seats (Front)
Performance Battery Plus (93.4 kWh)
Thermally & Noise Insulated Glass (I had one without this; the car gets awfully noisy (for an electric that is.) Huge run flat tires.)
Adaptive Cruise Control (Why this need to be an option I do not know.)

Not too sure what that means. I charge mine cca plug at 350kWh Charge Hub/Electrify America/EVgo chargers

This refers to the possibility/probability that Tesla will open up their supercharger network to all cars at some point. WIthout the 150Kw option, pretty inexpensive, you'd be limited to 50Kw charging speed at the 400V DC Tesla fast-charging stations. With the option, you'll be able to charge at 150Kw using those stations, without you are limited to 50Kw max charging speed at those stations. A bit of a gamble, but a pretty inexpensive one. I selected that option on my Taycan.
