Stuck in Port
My SA has told me my MY22 CT Turbo S is stuck at the port awaiting a software update. Car was offloaded from Dionysos Leader beginning of March in San Diego. And has been sitting there ever since. My SA says there are other cars there with it, so it's not just me.
Having never bought a Porsche, does this sound legit? Has this happened to anyone else before?
On the one hand I have no reason to doubt him, but on the other hand he can't give me an ETA for the car, and don't want to be here in 6 months still waiting (or find out he sold it to someone else - not sure that happens).
Advice appreciated.

It’s kinda weird for it to be only software. Those usually held at the dealer instead of port. But if there were something that made it fail DOT regulations than, yeah, that’s possible
On the other hand, it is quite common for cars to be held at port for various reasons. Often EPA certification. VW group seriously pissed off some pretty important agencies with Dieselgate, and their new ice models frequently get increased scrutiny. Or perhaps it’s better thought of as held to the strict letter of the regs without exemptions or waivers or deferrals that would be routine for most people. It’s not always apparent how much of the smooth functioning of modern business depends on trust until it’s gone.

I took delivery of my CT in late September, had a two week wait at the dealer for the TMPS parts. I would be happy you have one even with the delays. This Ukraine harness halt is hurting a lot of people.

RE: Taycan Cross Turismo Being held at Port per Customs
I have a Taycan 4 Cross Turismo incoming to the Port of San Diego later this week and read that due to electronics the car may be held, does anyone have more information like , is this ongoing? how long will it be help? I feel like I have been waiting for XMas to come and heard it may be cancelled.
