Default CT: Removing wheel arches, any progress?

There were a few threads discussing this here (and elsewhere), but seems they went dark.

Has anyone successfully removed the plastic wheel arches? Any updates?

I think if you have not yet ordered a CT, you might want to wait, since Porsche is going to launch the Sport Turismo model with no wheel arches, which will render the wheel arch issue moot for future buyers.

Agreed. But, for those of us that have one incoming… it’s still an open pursuit.

I would posit that once the ST lands, part numbers will be available for the painted arches, and you'll want to follow that route.

See attached premiere released today from Porsche. Sport Turismo has arrived...minus the wheel arches and lower ground setting and black bits in GTS form.

right, so basically drop links and removing wheel arches, but surprised nobody has been able to accomplish the latter?

Is there at least a PET diagram out there so we (who have yet to get out of Emden) can see if its even feasible?

Right. This is essentially what I was digging for... has anyone taken the current arches off the car yet to understand what we're dealing with underneath.
