I have a 4S on order (should be exiting production today) and I've been trying to do Track My Dream with no luck. My car doesn't show up in my My Porsche account, PCNA has been useless (refers me to dealer), and my SA is clueless about how to do this. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to tell my dealer to do to get this going? I thought there was a link they would send me and/or it would automatically link to my My Porsche account based on my email address. At this point I'm going in circles and its just ridiculous.

 

What worked for me is to call PCNA (1-800-PORSCHE) and tell them that I have a commission number and I need them to update the email address is my customer profile. Didn't even mention TYD at all. They did this on my 911 order and two or three days later the car showed up on the My Porsche homepage with a TYD link.

 

I exchanged emails with them on the topic and they told me to talk to the dealer, nothing they could/would do for me. I've asked my SA to make sure that my email address is correctly attached to my commission number, but I'm not getting anywhere.

Basically means your order isn't actually under your own name. It was under someone else's and for one reason or another the dealer is unwilling to change the order name to yours.

 

This is obviously my concern, though I have seen my name on the order in the system, with a commission number, in V250. Gonna call PCNA on Monday.

 

Cars that are ordered under your name/account automatically shows up at the My Porsche website.

It's actually how I found out a dealer I had a fallout on used my name to order a car for someone else without my knowledge. On one hand it's another car credited to my purchases, on another it will also be on me when it was flipped.

 

Called Porsche. The car is in my name, they just never initiated the TMD email. Suppposedly they are sending it shortly.

 

Finally, success! Have access to TMD, car is at the port waiting to ship out.

I recall someone said that there was somewhere in the app where you can see pictures of your car, but I can't find it. Anybody know how to do that?

Things should be on the first page of the My Porsche Essentias app. All your cars, currently owned or ordered or in the process of building should be there. With status updates. My app is currently f-ed up after an update so can't show you with screen caps.

For cars on order it will show which step in the process the car is in, just press through them and the car build pictures should show.

Slight update. I was able to get some screenshots bypassing the app and use the phone browser to get on My Porsche.

 

The MyPorsche app and Track Your Dream seem out of sync (which isn't entirely surprising). My Porsche still shows my incoming 4SCT in Production and not finished (and has no pictures), but TYD says its on its way to Emden Port.

Has anyone ever seen pictures show up in MyPorsche of their Taycan, or is it just 911 and 718s?

 

The MyPorsche site is usually behind on milestones compared to TYD. My MyPorsche site milestones never got beyond production, even after the car was delivered. Pictures have not been provided (to date) for Taycans.

 

That's pretty cool, I didn't realize it'd show the actual picture of your car once it's built. I thought it just going to show a drawing like it's doing now. Also, I thought ours would have been the only frozen berry out there

 

Oddly my PTS turbo s wasn’t showing up either but I had the commission number from the dealer which I emailed to PNA. 10 min later it was on my app showing it was produced but track my dream would not work (the email link for TMD Porsche sent said “site unavailable”)

I then logged in to myPorsche on my laptop computer (not my mobile) and saw the the button for track my dream and it works and shows everything perfectly. However I then went back to the email link I was sent and still shows “unavailable” so the system is messed up clearly.
