Jolt With Quick Transition Between Brake & Accelerator
'21 Taycan - Base Model
Noticed today for the second time that if I have a quick transition from the "Brake" to the "Accelerator" while slowing down to merge into the right lane, I get a hard jolt when getting back on the accelerator too quickly. Has anyone else experienced this and is there something I can do (other than not moving quickly between the pedals) to resolve this unwanted "jolt"?

Yes. Most likely the transmission - not much you can do. What drive mode were you in? In normal, any abrupt stabbing of the throttle will cause the transmission to shift into first for maximum acceleration.

Drive Mode is set to Normal... I didn't really "stab" at the throttle, just went back to a "mild" acceleration and it surprised me... The first time it happened was in a parking lot with pedestrians around where I had to brake for them and then they stopped to let me pass.

Common occurrence in my RWD. I don't think its the step down gear but not sure. It feels more like a rear wheel hop due to the high torque value being applied.
If you think this "jolt" is bad, try the PDK + in the GT cars.
