Default Tax Credit

Looks like the tax credit may go away on the Taycan. Would it be correct to assume that if you bought one before it went to effect you would still be eligible for the credit?

I believe they can write the changes to be retroactive. When Biden proposed changing the capital gains rate, some scenarios were examined with the rate change being from date of announcement instead of enactment. Likely as not the changes would not be retroactive, too much blowback.
