Tesla Tap Mini - Repair Notice
Posted this on the other Taycan forum, thought it was important enough to post here.
Wanted to alert the RL community to "repair" email I received regarding the Tesla Tap Mini I recently purchased (and have not used). It appears that the two halves that are secured by several 1/16" Allen screws may not have been properly torqued during the assembly. This can be a very dangerous situation if not resolved on an affected unit. The email said I was notified because my unit was manufactured prior to March 24, 2021. While the guide depicts the two halves with a fairly large gap and exposed "O" ring, my unit did not present like this. However, every Allen screw was loose and only a matter of time until it came apart and possibly exposing someone to high voltage.
