As nice as the Taycan is, no way I’d consider spending $80K on a RWD 0-60 in 5 sec version when the refreshed AWD 3.1 sec Tesla Model S LR is available for the same price.

I'm in the market for a Base Taycan now. Nothing about the Tesla appeals to me. Its an amazing amazing, but not even remotely cross shopping.

No % off on this one. Brand new model, first allocation to dealer for a customer build. My wife was able to build the car exactly how she wanted the Taycan to be.
Our deal is MSRP, buy rate on the lease whatever the PFS residual is (nothing marked up). We have a couple of backend deals that we have worked out that are worth about 8% of the MSRP.
There are still a couple of unknowns with the the Taycan RWD. The first is EPA/CARB. We live in HI, so CARB does not really apply to us, however car will need to be EPA certified prior to leaving port once it arrives in San Diego. The other is the actual lease program. There are no PFS numbers as of the writing of this post. Estimated to be .00200 for the MF and still unclear on the residual/MRM which can most certainly affect the monthly rent/tax.
Car is a business expense, therefore the $7500 tax credit is helpful and assists in keeping the build below MRM.
