Default Picked Up My 4S

Took delivery of my 4S this week. All I can say is WOW! I had been considering the Turbo, but I find the 4S more than adequate.

I thought I would post a couple of pics from my Dragy and Racebox. The 0-60 times are very close to those published by Porsche but in usual Porsche fashion the 1/4 mile time is much better.

Congrats.

Please drive your car in Range Mode at 38-42 MPH and tell me if you hear a humming sound from the front motor. Mine makes this noise but I was told it was normal....

Thanks,

Rob

Hey Rob,
I didn't notice any sound at that speed. However, my ears are old and the pavement was not particularly smooth. My passenger didn't notice any either. If I hear it in the future I will update.

I tried that same approach of 'Range Mode' and 35-50 MPH on various runs through that range and I could not hear any humming either.
Depending on the angle of attack on that MPH range I do hear occasional whistling coming from the front, such as air rushing through something and I have not yet been able to diagnose it. Given I got the thicker glass from factory and I can still hear it inside the cabin with all windows closed, not sure the price I paid for the glass was worth it.
One thing driving me bananas is a rattling on the passenger side door card or b-pillar. I need someone else in the car with me so I can diagnose it. With only 800 miles on the car that is really unacceptable.
