Default Racetex?

What specifically is racetex? Haven't seen it in person but I read some stating it's like an alternative to alcantara and others stating it's an alternative to sport Tex. Sounds interesting, I'd be interested in the headliner with it.

It is an environmentally neutral material. It actually looks terrific, and I think it's a good choice if you don't want to go full leather. My one concern is it will be tough to get the 'crumbs' out of the pockets in the weave. Minor stuff.
