2021 Neptune Blue
Got these from my dealer today. Shipping cross country from New Jersey to Seattle tomorrow am.
This will help keep me from thinking about my 992 Turbo S Cab that’s stuck in Houston waiting for PEC LA opening in February.

Nice color.....wish I held out for 2021 to get heads up display. Did you get that option.?...Looking at your cars I will be interested to see how you think taycan compares with you others. My Taycan Turbo S has made me park my huracan and sell my 991 turbo S. Really enjoying the instant torque at all speeds which ICE cars just don't have....probably just the honeymoon at this point since it has been only 2 months. By the way I was considering your interior which looks fabulous but I ended up going black with trim blackout. I am also in the seattle burbs so see you around town...enjoy the car

Yes the car has the HUD display. Electric is crazy torque for sure. Very addicting. I’ve had 5 Teslas (have two now) and actually trading in one of them for this Taycan. My prior 488 and 488 Spider had amazing torque and I my 992 turbo S I’m getting in 5 weeks I’ve read is electric fast? That said I really just wanted a nicer work Daily Driver than the Tesla. Although I will miss the autopilot in crap Seattle traffic. Where are you? Bellevue/Redmond or other? We are on MI

I drove the 4S and the turbo locally. Having had 5 EVs in the past 5 years I will say the whole HP thing seems like it doesn’t apply - I found the 4S very fast especially for a daily driver. The turbo is faster off the line but that’s not how Im going to use the Taycan. I’m Getting a 992 Turbo S cab in 6 weeks for a sporty weekend/top down car which per the numbers is the fastest modern (non 918) Porsche out there. That said, living in the city its pretty rare you can launch these cars without high risk for accidents or jail..
Regarding the build, I need to find the code in my email. Happy to post the sticker once it arrives. The interior is limestone/black. I haven’t had any non black interiors since my F430 Spider which was red/beige as I’ve always preferred black but then again Ive never had a blue car before either, like ever.....

Granted I drove only home from the delivery drop off to home but I was able to spend a couple hours in the car. It’s off to the detail shop after Christmas for PPF and ceramic coating and tint. Neptune blue is amazing. It’s a flat blue that is quite bright in the sunlight but muted in the clouds almost looks like it has some grey hues in the blue. Limestone/black is perfect for this color. It’s a little darker beige that photos I saw and that’s a good thing, it really looks perfect with the exterior.
So driving this is on another level. Ive had several Teslas since 2012 in addition to my large list of ICE cars. Tesla has seriously jumped the shark and are more tech than form or function. My fastest Tesla was a 2017 P100 which everyone knows is lightning quick off the line and Clearly 0-60 the Tesla beats if you set up LM. On a day to day basis it’s kind of a Toyota Camry compared to the Porsche. Overall the drive, stability, comfort, and fit and finish of the Porsche is really second to none. They just do it right. Performance wise It’s as fast as you would want a sedan honestly, as it would be hard to go faster living in a major city like I do. No way am I a tracking this car- that will be limited to my incoming 992 Turbo S.
While it’s still very early I would say it’s a perfect electric luxury sports GT for a daily driver if you have home or work charging. I’ll see how the range works out over the coming weeks. Tech seems pretty good and intuitive and the displays are beautiful. The sport sound which is a little bit of a gimmick, is actually really cool and I imagine I’ll have it “on” all the time. The HUD works well but not sure how much Ill use it?
Well that’s all for now. More photos after detail done...

Sounds good. Love the car so far and for once my wife loves it too! After working with most of the local shops I use Benchmark auto salon in Lynnwood (not to be confused with Benchmark in Bellevue). The owner Mike is a real artist and is amazing with paint and film install.
