One consideration if you want to take it a step further, the shifter boot could also be stitched and modified with the seat fabric to tie it in.

I can't believe you mentioned the boot because I was looking at it the other day and thinking that would be pretty cool to do

I reported this a few months ago, but it seems like a good time to remind those that don't have LWB that in order to go with the custom inserts in the sport seats, you'll need an upholsterer to remove the factory leather and re-cover the factory foam with the new material. I bought the pepita fabric from Lakewell and paid a local upholstery shop about $800 to do the work. And yes, the seat heaters still work fine.

question for you guys.. I ordered the GT4 side scoop things (whatever they are called) - but upon receipt it was literally just the side scoops (to be painted) and some double sided tape. Are there more parts I should have ordered?

^^^^As I recall from earlier posts by those that have installed the GT4 side scoops, some have just used the adhesive tape with no other mounting hardware. That's what this guy did in this vid:

Whether the tape alone is sufficient to keep them from flying off at speed, I don't know, although I haven't seen anyone report that they have come off when mounted in this fashion.

Yes, there is more. You should have also received the plastic inserts (similar to your existing ones) but with holes drilled into them as mounting points for the external scoops.

Thx Alex - all I got was the side scoops and some tape

I'll see if I can dig up a part number for the plastic inserts

LOOKS GREAT! Where did you source the lip and side vents from? Also, did you just use the adhesive supplied, or was there some missing hardware to complete the install?
