just check DB-Design group's website.. there is enough carbon there to slather the entire car with, as well as almost double the price of the car LOL. very impressive.
However, seeing some of the really unique parts, I'm thinking an interesting option might be to leave the silver trim bits, and just change to carbon some of the parts which are flat black plastic on the interior like the center console bit, which would contrast nicely with the surrounding silver.
INTERIOR:
-defroster trim under windshield in carbon
-center console switch unit
-door trim panels
EXTERIOR:
-mirror supports
-exhaust surround
-air scoops
... this is going to end very badly for my wallet.
can't see too many pics of this car while I wait.

Ever an nice combination and good choice to delete all ugly black plastic parts from an luxury leather interior.

All correct guys, this could be called safe enough first after all necessary tests - anything else would be a guess only.
Honestly - to prepare an underground for 3M double sided tape the body anyway needs to be sanded at those areas, does 4 little screw holes (Porsche use 4 little 4,2x19 self-tapping screws) matter that much more? If those air scoops will be removed later it needs to be spot repaired/repainted anyway, to close 4 little holes before wouldn´t be the issue.
In Germany we say: "Who wants to be beautiful must feel"

I'm going to do a few things to make it easier to work on the car:
Tarret caliper studs
FabSpeed F&R tie downs and rear lifting point
3M Clear bra
Das shield trunk protector
LN Engineering spin on oil filter adapter and magnetic drain plug
Elephant Racing Eccentric Adjuster Locking Kit to keep rear toe & camber settings stable

LN Engineering spin on oil filter adapter and magnetic drain plug
will these work on the 3.8 ? What oil filter works with that? Are we then stuck with only one supplier for filters?

i want to find those 40hp Porsche lost. So I'm thinking IBD Plenum and throttle body and Fabspeed sports header.

I've contacted LN and they say the spin on adapter will work for the 3.8L engine. The oil filter is a WIX from a Corvette so there are many suppliers. I used Royal Purple filter 10-44 on my 987 and will use the WIX 51042 for the Spyder as it appears a smaller. A dozen WIX filters delivered were $65.
