CDR30 Bluetooth Phone Mic in Spyder
I just took delivery of my MY2012 Boxster Spyder. I optioned the CDR30 with bluetooth and was told this is a pretty capable setup. However, when connected to my iPhone, I had trouble getting a reasonable volume on the mic. So, couple of questions:
1) Where is the MIC for the Boxster Spyder's CDR30?
2) I see some settings for the phone: Input and Output. I had Input jacked to highest setting. Still no joy.
3) Has anyone had the issues I'm seeing?
Note: I'm aware that iPhone contacts are a challenge for the CDR30, but I know the remedies for that (using a laptop to push contacts). However, if the mic can't work for me, that's a bit disappointing.
Thanks for any advice or solutions.

Do you mean that (a) people have a hard time hearing you or (b) you have a hard time hearing them?
If (a) baring a defective mic, you've done all you can do jacking the input/output settings.
if (b) turn up the volume on the radio ****.
My CDR/bluetooth works fine even with the top down at highway speeds.
