Default Spyder Purchase Questions

The car is a 2011 Boxster Spyder at the Porsche Exchange in Illinois.
6 speed manual
Sport Bucket Seats
Auto Climate Control
Sport Chrono
Sound Package Plus
Bi Xenons
Self dimming mirrors/rain sensor
It has 2590 mi. CPO’ed until 4/30/2016. Said to be in flawless condition. Asking price is $61,990. I ran it thru the configurator and came up with an original MSRP of $68,420.

Is it ok to forego a PPI since it’s warrantied for 5 more yrs? Should I trust the selling dealer to give me a DME readout? What’s a fair offer on it? Thanks for any advice.

I would trust the dme readout as it should show the vin. Also, make sure to paint test all the panels with a paint meter. Price may be a tad high but 5 year warranty from factory is nice.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me too as long as you like the color. Options are great, you'll just need to add Sport Exhaust.

I don't see any reason to have a PPI done but I would definitely inspect the car in person before buying to make sure that the cosmetics meet your expectations. A paint meter test is also a great suggestion.

Let us know if you go for it!
