spyder rain report
reading the Word in Car's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly:
"New Spyder looks cool, suits hot dry climates."
Roof was fine in today's rain, need to use a/c to clear the windscreen.
From a noise insulation perspective, there's no reason to have the top up at all.
Wet grip outstanding

agree it's a superlative feature. it gets the task done, with no weight, minimal space needs. the engineering of the roof is creative and unified.
i will likely use just the roof part sometimes and in our dry, sunny, not so hot climate, put it up maybe one month of cumulative days per year

So far so good. Made the purchase in Southern California on Saturday and drove it back to SF Bay Area up I5. Drove through some thunderstorms and no problems with water intrusion. Absolutely love the car.
