I'm looking to upgrade my BOSE CDR24 system by installing the Porsche PCCM+ in the near future. I have heard through various sites that it is pretty straightforward to once installed younneed to code it for it to work if your original system did not come with a CD changer. Any feedback would be appreciated.

 

Just to note, the Spyder/Cayman R section is for 2011-2012 cars, so the PCCM+ isn't applicable yet. PCCM+ is only for 997.1 and 987.1 cars and earlier.

PCCM+ is very easy to install. I did it on my 997.1 GT3. I didn't have a CD changer in my car and no coding was needed. Only the CD changer that is built into the CDR24.
