I have slight ding in my rocker panel - below driver door that I'm trying to address. It isn't something that a dent puller is able to tackle. Below the rocker (center of door), on the under carriage and about 1 inch in - is a rubber grommet. Curious if this will give me access to the inside of rocker to push out ding . . . or is it something else?

 

My previous Cayman had a few dents in its rocker and I had a PDR guys massage those out by accessing through holes on the underside. The holes had plugs in them like that he removed, so that's probably what that is. Pic is too blurry to be more sure.

 

Pic 156 here shows one of the factory grommets.

However, the factory grommets I don't think look like that. I think the factory grommets are solid.

An experienced dent person should be able to push it out for you. I've had a dent guy access and do some things that I didn't think were possible.
