Fabric door pull cleaning or replacements

Hello,
I’ve done some research here and reached out to a few owners. My new to me Spyder’s fabric door pulls are nearly black from dirt. I’d just as soon replace them with a new pair, but it seems they are only available as an entire unit for $160, or the strap from SunCoast at $105 each. Has anyone found a cost effective replacement loop, and or a tried and true way of properly cleaning the originals? My understanding is that too much scrubbing turns them into fuzz *****, which I’d like to avoid. Any info would be appreciated, thank you.

Remove them and wash them by hand using woolite or Griots interior cleaner. Make sure they’re well rinsed after washing so the fibers don’t break down. I don’t know of any aftermarket pulls that match but then I haven’t looked extensively either.

Woolite and gentle washing should do the trick. In a tribute to my immigrant ancestors' plastic covered couches, I fashioned covers for mine using a bit of left over PPF. Key is to fold the piece so that the adhesive doesn't touch the pull.
