Default Looking for some 987.2 Spyder items

Hello,
I’m looking for a few items for the 987.2 Spyder. If you have any of these items as spares and would like to part with them, please let me know. Also perhaps some of these items are still available new and you have part numbers, that would be great too. Thanks for looking.

1. laminated “how to use the manual top” card.
2. gray bag for the wind deflector that mounts between the roll hoops.
3. good quality fitted indoor or outdoor cover for 987.2
4. Set of stock 987.2 Spyder or Cayman R wheels in silver.
5. Black or Silver rear deck lid Spyder emblem.
6. Black Spyder door sill stickers.
7. Carrera white front bumper plug for tow eye.

Suncoastparts.com has a good 987.2 Spyder list of parts. Most of what you want is available there, except for the laminated card, Carrara White tow eye cover and maybe the rear insert bag.

The official Porsche Boxster S soft indoor cover fits extremely well on a Spyder.

I would go with new wheels as they will be correct in every way with no stories. They are USD 5,000 a set of four.

I ordered the Spyder cover from Suncoast and, interestingly, they sent me a Cayman cover. I was confused when I received it, but upon inquiry they informed me that it is the best fitting cover for the Spyder. It does fit well. FYI.

Here's the cover that I'm using off my now departer 718 Spyder. It fits and looks great.

Suncoast parts.

I’ve seen black and gray pouches. I’d take either. Thanks

Covercraft also makes a nice cover for the Spyder. I’ve had mine for 12 years with no issues.

It’s like a fitted Armani suit.

Updated list. I’ve acquired most of the items I listed. I still need a 987.2 wind deflector with storage bag, and set of stock Spyder wheels. My car has really nice forgelines, that actually work for my build look, but I also love stock Spyder wheels. It seems the 981 Spyder wheels are less expensive, but are 20” and have a slightly different offset, which may or may not be an issue. Cosmetically they appear to be the same wheel though.

Just out of interest, are you bringing a 987.2 Spyder back to original or is this a project?

I bought a Spyder that had some cosmetic mods done, like stripe removal, and a wheel change. I like very stock original cars, so the short answer is yes, I’m trying to get its factory items back. However I have a dream build that I’d like to do that pays homage to factory exclusive race and street cars. The 987.2 Spyder is one of the most perfect sports cars Porsche ever built in my opinion. It does however lack enough horsepower for my tastes. I think the car would be spectacular with 400 hp. I don’t want to give out too much info because I’m not even sure if or how the build will go. If I modify a car in any way, I generally only like to use factory Porsche parts where feasible. If it doesn’t exist, then I'll attempt to make the part just like the factory might have. I’ll try to keep the Spyder forum in the loop as I research and work on feasibility and execution.
