No recent action. There has to be a run at the end...

Reading the description, these specific seats should be worth more than other GT2 buckets due to the OEM heating elements being retrofitted. Sounds like it was quite a task sourcing all the parts as they were only available on the Euro-spec version used for the 991-gen cars.

And...the seats are being auctioned by a well-respected RLer.

Thanks so much for the kind words all! I didn't want to drop in here and fluff up my own auction so I was going to stay on the sidelines. I will just say however, whoever buys these is really going to be getting a perfect package. The parts/pieces for the heated alcantara cushions alone cost well over $2,500, so I'm all in for a pretty penny myself. It was a really fun and rewarding project though and proud to say perhaps the only heated set of this generation in existence.(?) I didn't have any plans to part with the car or the buckets so cost really didn't matter a couple years ago. Life changes however (more kids) and while the Spyder IS still staying, I figured I wasn't using the buckets enough to justify keeping them whilst also storing my sofas in the house. (seats take space!) I hope these go to a very very happy new owner tomorrow.

Thanks! A fun selling experience I have to say. Even though there was only one winner I met a lot of really nice people (via email) along the way. Porsche has the best community.

Congrats AWay! They're arguably the best set of GT2 folding buckets I've seen, so the price is fitting.

You can buy a pristine 986 Boxster S or a high-mileage driver 987.2 Boxster with that money
