Default Putting my Spyder to bed for winter

Here in the Rocky Mountains the driving season for convertibles (or most sports cars) is short. One might get a few intermittent nice days in mid to late April and May, before driving on a mostly regular basis can be obtained June through September. October can be touch and go and by the end of the month it's bed time for the Spyder.

Between the limited driving season and since I am lucky enough to have two sports cars to drive, I only put 360 miles on my 2011 Spyder this year totaling only 8995 miles.
So after a fresh oil change, Stabil in the tank, airing up the tires and a thorough wash and detail the Spyder hibernates (battery tender of course) for about five months.

As April seems a long way away right now, I am envious of you that have a longer driving season. On the other hand driving the curvy mountain roads with the top down makes up for some of that.
Quality over quantity if you will.

Safe driving to all and enjoy your Spyder's while you can!

I drive to CO yearly to climb and each time I'm there I think to myself how epic it would be to have my Spyder there on those roads; maybe one day I'll make a rash decision and drive the Spyder.
