Thumbs up

It was a happy Wednesday night. My Spyder showed up after a cross country journey in perfect condition. The engine just sings! I luv it
I didn't realize until in person how wide the rear end is. Sits pretty

Ain't that the truth. In terms of cars I've owned, here's my ranking in terms of street driving fun:

1) RS60 Spyder (motor just howls, although PSE closes off in the drone range which is annoying)
2) 987 Spyder (close second)
3) 987 Cayman R
4) 981 Spyder (gearing way too tall)
5) 981 GT4 (heavy feel gearbox too track focused)

Although I do love the RS60 Spyder aesthetically and viscerally, the 987.2 Spyder is just so unique in design that it makes it my number 1 overall. The RS60 is still the best bang for the buck Porsche.

I was watching the OPs car for awhile on Autotrader. My obstacle was my 50th Anniversary, for which I was ready to part with as I wanted another Spyder. My dealer wasn't interested in getting it for me to trade. Glad it went to a great new home. It's going to be tough to see it in the winter and not drive it!
