Default RSS 7 & 15mm Spacers - Very Pleased...

This past weekend I decided to install a set of RSS spacers that I had purchased several years ago for another car that was sold and then forgot about them. I was going through some cabinets & came across them a few weeks ago - luckily they were the same recommended specs (7mm front / 15mm rear with correct longer bolts) for our Spyders so I thought I'd give them a try out.

During the process I also took the opportunity to detail and ceramic coat the wheels - what a pain in the *** job.... They did come out nicely though and I hope the coating with ease the brake dust clean up.

Personally I'm amazed by how the spacers transform the stance and appearance of the Spyder by providing a near flush profile with the wheel arches.

Here are a few gratuitous pictures after a drive today to ensure all was well and tight. I definitely noticed a little more grip from the wider F&R track.

Highly recommended.

Looks good. Is an alignment required after changing geometry as a result of the spacers?

Alignment not necessary with these spacers.

If you were to alter the ride height / camber etc, then an alignment would be required.

Are you still content with the sizing of the spacers? I've been casually thinking about a set for mine but realistically would err a bit on the milder side. Likely 5mm F and 7mm R, which I know may be subtle. Trying to a find a safe balance between filling the arches out a bit and minimizing the wheels kicking up even more road debris onto the car.
