They are replaceable and just pop out via tabs on the back side. Just need jack the rear of the car in the air to remove the plastic rear bumper cover to get back there. Nothing too complicated, just maybe a couple hours if you've never removed it before.
The bumperettes for all 987.2 are the same. If I were you, I'd just search eBay and salvage parts recyclers to find some used ones in your same paint color, then install. I had pretty much the exact same issue as you on my old 987.1 and replaced it that way... no need for a paint shop as the price will go WAY up.
