Spyder 987.2 Side Vent Mods
I am curious what side vents mods people have done on 987.2 Spyders. I have searched the Internet for options but not really finding what I am looking for. The side vents on the 987.2 look a bit undersized to me and I wanted something that gave the optics of increasing the size and perhaps even coming out from flush a bit. I don't like the look of scoops. I did see some replacement vents that mimic the 997 Turbo side vents which look promising but wanted to get a sense for what people have actually done and any recommendations. I am aware that the Driver's side vent is functional for airflow to the engine and not interested in altering functionality or de-snorkeling. Just want something a bit bolder.
Appreciate any insights or recommendations.
Thanks,
G..

Three Wheelin'
I replaced my fussy OEM Cayman vents with the subtle vents from a Spyder.
Both side vents are functional; left for intake and right for engine compartment cooling.
You could go the other way, and use Boxster or Cayman vents?
Noting, you will also need to change the mounting frame, as all three OEM styles use a different frame.
Or, perhaps you can add some neon or flashing LEDs?
