Yes, correct is H7, but H6 fits and is smaller... but see the answer directly above for details about the sizing and Amp Hours.

Just so folks know, the weight savings are real. It is VERY apparent the second you pick up a 16lb battery vs 52.6lb one. Pretty wild! H7 was a perfect fit and 40ah is even more than needed.

Anywho, just wanted to follow up and report back as very happy camper. My battery was from 2015 so I justified it as ‘old’ and in need of replacement.

Does anyone know how much Porsche was charging for this option back in 2011?? Just curious based on current prices for them. I would assume double.

The Porsche OEM lithium ion battery was $2,900 and was just under 13lbs but only 18Ah.
