Yes definitely need the Sport Steering wheel. Just out of curiosity, does that swap require a trip to the shop to turn out the Airbag light? I looked at one that had the Airbag light turned off and the steering wheel swap was presumed to be the reason.
John, my barber came to Wichita in the late 70s from New York for the same reason, stayed and opened a salon with his wife!

btw - the icarsoft porsche tool is inexpensive and allows you to reset this and many other things if need be like service lights for oil changes.
