I think a blue, kind of like the color of the canopy in the above picture would brighten it up a bit.......

That was the first practice session on Friday.
My fastest time of the weekend was during Thursday night practice.

Scott, I think you could do a lot with your car. First and foremost, loose the silver wheels. A blue, like suggested would work, or any of the primary colors in a bright tone. 2 color stripes would lift it to. Paint the mirrors to match the wheels and then bring that same color onto the body for lettering and whatnot. Lastly, get your number onto a white background numberplate to differentiate them from the rest of the vinyl work and make the car 'pop' some more.
I have done a few track cars now and I am by no means an expert, but I have yet to see a car that couldn't be made to 'pop'.
