Had both heat shield and tank leakage module replaced last week. Now when fan is turned on (w/o AC) i smell gas in the cabin. Could that be related to the recall fix? Is there a direct connection with the air circulation or area where tech may have broken during recall work?

If you are asking about the exhaust see rule 2F:

F. Exhaust manifolds must be stock; catalytic converters may be removed and all other exhaust components are free. The exhaust system may be wrapped.

OP was in 2015, and I think the thread bump was a mistake.

Shame that it took over 5 years to get a response!

So I am running a new set of Hoosiers R7 on my 718 GT4. New tires and 19 inch wheels.

My first time ever to run slicks. Can't wait to feel and see the difference.

I normally get 3-4 days out of Cup2s. Can you tell me the best way to break these tires in? I have a set of Cup2s on my 20 inch wheels. So I will probably switch to street tires during the day to save slicks.

Suggest you post this in the Racing & DE forum rather than here in the SPB subforum as the spec tire is a Toyo.
