Default Tranny temp sender location

For those of you who have installed a temp gauge where have you put the sender? If anyone has drilled the case and has a picture of the location that would be great.

If you are running a pump and cooler, then...
Place the sensor in the external filter before the cooler.

Hey Eric - not running a pump and cooler yet but will in the future. One idea that a mechanic buddy of mine was thinking of was to use the drain plug hole and find a hex head bolt of the same size to drill and tap for the temp sender. This could work but I'm not sure is ideal because you would lose the magnet function of the drain plug. When a pump and cooler are installed you can fun a filter to take that place of course. I'm sure someone has tapped the case, just curious where.
