SPB Exhaust from Precision Chassis Works
Hello fellow SPB racers,
As some of you may know, Precision Chassis Works is no longer selling their exhaust systems for SPBs. I spoke to the owner yesterday and he informed me they will be building a few units for some in-house builds in the next 3 to 4 weeks. I asked if they would consider building me one and he agreed. He said they stopped making them because it just was not cost effective producing them one at a time. If anyone is interested in buying an exhaust from PCW reply to this post to show your interest. I will compile the total number and let him know so he can build enough. The price has increased to $1,500 so they "don't lose money".

Yea he was snowed under with two in house builds. I like his seat mount since we have to keep the sliders it will lower the seat enough I can get some more stability out the the car. I'll be by the gas pumps stop on by. We usually do diner on Friday night for the SPB Nation.

I assume he is talking about this, but maybe there are other options as well.

I have these on my car, the exhausts sound great, just put a set of headers on and they sound even more amazing. Wasn't originally going to do the seat pan but Kent talked me into it and it worked out really nice. I like the lower seating position.

I will be doing another run of exhaust systems in the next few weeks, so if anybody is interested. they need to send me an email at precisionchassis@gmail.com
As far as the seat pans go. I am not familiar with the Cup sliders that everyone keeps referring to. The seat pans that we have made in the past were designed to be used without sliders. That said, you could add sliders if you wanted to, but either way, the seat pans were made to order and are specific to the seat and side mounting brackets that will be used. There has never been a one size fits all part.
My shop is not structured to be a parts manufacturer, which is one of the reasons why I stopped advertising Boxster Spec parts for sale. I make occasional parts runs when in-house projects justify the time, and we just happen to have two Spec builds going on at the moment. If someone wanted either of these parts, then need to contact me at the above email address to make arrangements.

We are preparing a template tommorow. Understand that parts business is not your gig but I'm sure we appreciate the help. All of us have to change over to cup sliders or go fixed seat back and in y case that's not practical as much as I would love the even lower position.
Count me in for one floor plate. Still debating on the exaust.

I've been looking for a couple of SS exhaust flanges to adapt a muffler to a set of 993 Gillet heat exchangers (2" round, 3-bolt). The Boxster flanges from Precision might fit the bill, but no answer about availability from them yet. Does anyone know of another source?
Thanks,
Sherwood

Also got an email form precision that they are gearing up for a run of mufflers. If anyone is interested I ink you should let them know now.
