I too am in my first year in spec Boxster. Having come from racing 30 year old 944, I am accumulating a spare clutch kit, tranny, wheels, one axle complete, emergency tape for fixing wafer hose leaks and Durametric code reader. Also extra lug nuts. Looking for suggestions too!

Here is a list I compiled over time after talking with drivers or seeing failures at races. These aren’t all considered “must haves” (unless you ending up needing them), but this covers most of the items I’ve been told or directly observed could be problems at the track. I put an asterisk next to what I think would be must-haves as they seem to be pretty common failure parts and aren’t horribly expensive. I can update this list if others have suggestions. I certainly don't have all of the things in this list myself (some can be $$), but here in Texas I am fortunate to have several copies of the most important item on the list – the very last one ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
Electrical
• MAF*
• Oxygen Sensor*
• Spark plug*
• Fuses*
• Fuel pump relay*
• Any other relays that may still be used in the car
• Ignition switch
• Fuel injector
• Spool of primary wire for emergency repair
• Coil pack
Wheels
• Spare stud(s) and wheel nuts*
• Brake pads*
• Stainless flexible brake lines*
• Hard brake lines
• Rotor
• Wheel bearing (and/or carrier)
Other
• Shift cable connectors for each cable that connects to shift tower in car (they break easily)*
• Drop links
• Control arm
• Radiators
Fluids
• Brake Fluid*
• Engine Oil*
• MAF Cleaner*
• Gear Oil
Bits
• Nuts, bolts, screws, washers*
• Zip ties – various sizes*
• Pipe clamps – various sizes*
• Duct and electrical tape*
Expensive Things (but could save your weekend)
• Transmission
And the most important thing of all: fellow racers who have some or all of the above!

Great list. I would put an asterix on radiators. One off can ruin your weekend.
Carry a right & left wheel carrier with fresh bearing in ready to go.
1-2 spare wheels also a good idea. Saves swapping tires off rains or scrubs if you bend one.
Agree with everyone above that a spare tranny (and shift cables) is a good idea.
