Looking for advice on track tires for a dedicated Cayman S, PDK track car. I'm a PCA and SCDA DE Instructor and usually do 10-12 events per season.
09' Cayman S, light tune, H&R suspension. Cornering grip and braking are most important.
Current tires are 275-40-18 rears, 245-40-18's rear
Thx in advance
Rick

been running them for a few years and love them. i run the same size as you. excellent performance right up until the end and they do give you some warning at the end. there are about 8 friends who run the same tires for de events on caymans, 911s, vetts and a bmw. all love em.
i just bought a new set and they were around $1300.
-edit-
you can run them on the street if you have to but nothing below 40F and be warned - they are loud as hell on the street.
