I am refreshing my spec car , and the studs that are in it looks too small.
What size of wheel studs are you guys using? My car has twist wheels.
I see in rennline 3 sizes, I am between getting the middle (45mm of threads) or the biggest one(60mm of threads).
Thoughts?

I just replaced mine w/ these in the 92.5mm length: https://tarett.com/collections/wheel...l-studs-ea-ts1
And these two piece nuts: https://tarett.com/collections/wheel...ting-collar-ea
They probably stick out more than needed, but if desired can run big spacers (legal in NASA, not in SPB).
Personally I would avoid the Rennline studs, I saw a couple of a friend's brand new Rennline studs snap off at the track about 2 years ago.

I decided to bite the bullet and get the Tarret 92mm
I Thought it was too expensive, but lots of people said its worth the money, so I'm gonna give it a try.
I have not fitted to the car yet, but this is how they should look like. Doesn't stick out too much

I noticed that it comes with some kinda material in the thread part that goes in the hub.
Is this like red thread locker?
If so this will be a pain to remove

Dont know why would u want to remove the thread locker, but a little heat and a wire wheel on a drill will clean it off.

Not really. I have msi studs that i applied my own red locktight too and u had to switch them to different hubs. About 15-20 sec with a map gas torch on each and they spun out with resonable effort. Still needed to lock down the hub and double nut the stud but it was fine to revome them by myself.

I put red locktite on top of the pink stuff that comes on the MSI studs. So far none have moved/backed out. Agree on heating to remove, I have to remove one stud every time I do wheel bearings to fit my press tool, have not seen any issue w/ them being overly easy to remove w/ red locktite on top of the pink stuff..
