Edit to add: been looking at the Antigravity ATX20 and ATX30......anyone with direct experience there?
Yes battery costs can be all over the place and it also depends on the actual or REAL amp hours a battery give you. Some claim high amp hours but use a PbEq rating or Lead/Acid equivalent rating which is not accurate. Always ask the company for the REAL Amp Hours of the battery they provide. Because the PBEQ rating is a made up number by the battery companies that give a rough equivalency, but some companies use this to inflate their ratings, when the fact is the only real way to know the size of the Lithium battery inside the case is to aske for the real amp hour rating not the Lead equvalency rating.

Also the feature they have and if they can be contacted easily and have phone lines and a real warehouse and offices. If you have any specific questions we would be glad to answer them.

As an aside, if you are having 'battery" issues at the track (hot start issues), make sure you check the starter/engine to chassis ground. It makes a huge difference for starting the car when it is hot!

Rhetorical Question: If your Li battery catches fire due to a short or accident, do you think the local trackworkers have the training and tools to put it out? My understanding from previous threads is that it can take 300-500 gallons of water (or more) to put out a LI battery fire, and the odds of there being that much water available on short notice seem pretty slim.

Odyssey PC680 (11 lbs) for me, and change it every spring.

Just so you understand there are different chemical make ups of Lithium Batteries and the Automobile battery which are made of the Lifepo4 based chemistry are not prone to raw flame they will smolder if going into thermal runaway which is very rare. But also note that the high quality Lithium Automotive batteries have built in protections to prevent short circuit, over charge and over discharge and can shut down if they notice abnormal thermal events. So the fire aspect is incredibly rare and sparks igniting gas are much more prevalent than a battery related fire. I think you might be confusing the lithium polymer powered hoverboards and electronics which are a much more volatile and energy dense form of lithium.
