Rear suspension cross tie bar

It looks like this is the cross tie bar they are using. It’s only $99 and the explanation for what it does to help makes sense to me:

I made my own for about 10 bux of aluminum bar stock. cant say i notice a difference but it was worth just for the fact that my aluminum underbody panel goes back on with no fiddling so in my mind it prevents some motion
