Default Hood Release DIY or Link
Anyone have a DIY or information on how to make the pull wire hood release that I see on a lot of boxster 996 track cars? Or are loops that are hanging out only hooked up to the manual emergency release and people keep the manual ones in the cockpit? Car is a 99 with manual trunk/frunk.

I eliminated the main latch altogether and installed hood pins. I did leave the secondary catch as a backup.
