I've run and won the 25hrs so very familiar with the event. You give up winning in class. If the SPB isn't competitive in ES (maybe your non SPB's are?) there's no point in running in that class. Even a Spec Miata cracks the top 10 overall on occasion. A MX-5 won overall one year, but this was pre GT3/DP cars.

E1 was around 1:59 and E2 was around 2:02 if I recall. SPB would be highly competitive in E1 as it is faster than that cars I ran in that class.
