Love seeing Cayennes used for everything, so jumping in here! Coming up on 145k miles - does it all.

Thank you, I like how yours show more brake though......in full disclosure my wife picked the wheel color, so she deserves the props, i'm just the monkey who does the work

She fell in love with the GTS's look and sounds (but the TT's power, i'm sure you can side with her) while shopping during past months, so I believe that's what persuaded her to lean towards the darker wheel color. She's happy with it so that's what matters.

I just hope I can help get her close to where she wants to be in the exhaust "sound department" during the next couple days. Been R&Ding different setups the past couple weeks and have gone as far as making entire custom mufflers with different combos of H pipes, X pipes, and all that.......its hard to explain to her the differences in dynamics of exhaust sound when it comes to Turbo vs N/A. She just wants it to sound like a GTS, luckily I have a few tricks up my sleeve and a whole lot of 32v V8 forced induction exhaust tuning under my belt.....whats the worst that can happen? More burn scars from welding? Divorce? A crappy sounding CTT? We'll see

And just a quick question RaudiDriver.... I was noticing the blacked out trim around your side windows and the small portion of lower lift gate. Was this an option in '11 or was that done yourself? Thanks

Edit : looks like it must have been option QJ4

It's an option that mine didn't come with. I paid $59 for the trunk trim piece and something like $250 or $300 for all the window trim pieces. I installed everything at home.

You can buy the trim from Gaudin or Suncoast for around $400 or $500. It's totally worth it.

Love those wheels, nice choice. The mountains in the background are even prettier though... what state?

Vorestiner 21 x 10 VFF 104's, I think.

^ Since it's my daily driver, I didn't want to spend a fortune on fully forged wheels so just opted for a set of the Flow forged Vorestiners. They were the best choice for the money I was working with.

Those are the Glass Mountains in the background. I was on my way to Mammoth for a boarding trip and pulled over to stretch the legs. The flip side has the Sierra Nevada Range and those are awe inspiring.

Nice to meet another boarder

The Sierra's are stunning. Lucky you for living near them!

Excellent and i'll be looking into that soon, thanks!

On another note...finally finished up my exhaust tuning ventures after what felt like endless efforts and welding burns. Got some of the GTS pops and gurgles we wanted along with an absolutely intoxicating powerful tone. It really changed the rigs overall personality in the best possible way. Plus, did the final drive testing on highway and 80mph+ last night and miraculously no drone at any speed/rpm with windows up or down. I've never constructed such an aggressive exhaust that did not have at least some drone or boominess, I suppose the TT's are to thank for that. Happy happy!
Here's some of the testing

Your 958 sounds really good grevegti! What kind of custom setup did you fabricate? I'm sure myself and others would love to see some photos of your work if you'd be so kind.

Thanks Jason Its close to the sound we were going for. Heres a glimpse into some of the mad science project It is just an axle back so far, no mods to secondaries or mid-pipe. Pretty happy with current volume but cant rule out a secondary delete for a bit more sound and pops down the line.
Kinda stupid that I don't have pics of final product (because I was sure I was done at the time) but this is the second to last revision, close to what I have now.
