I'm going with Aliotos but it's difficult for me to get to them during business hours. They provided an initial estimate based on the photo and I'm hoping to get it in sooner for a full exam.

I'm no longer hoping for under 1k and I'm now hoping for under 3k.

Can you give a sense of cost just to respray a bumper? I will bring in just the bumper i.e. no disassembly required by the shop

Update: I finally pulled the trigger on getting this fixed. My delay was based on finding the right shop, not on the cost.

My two concerns are matching the color precisely, and badging it correctly.

I ended up going with Anderson Behel in Santa Clara. The cost is just north of $2700, unless they discover the impact bar needs replacement also which will of course be more.

They have the Porsche templates for doing the lettering, which is good.

I'm pretty much expecting this, but the part doesn't look too costly online. Couple hundred bucks.

I've seen the "Bumper job, huh?" horror story thread where a rear end collision caused ~30k in frame damage.

I do not expect this to be the case for mine, as the impact was extremely low speed (1-2 MPH at most.)

I'll update with the results, she goes under the knife May 8th.

I got word today the impact bar is, thankfully, intact! Just a cosmetic fix.

Still a costly one though.
