This is simply the best all-around car I’ve ever owned, but two recent additions to the family have me leaning toward something larger. I bought the car 6 months old (first owner doesn’t show in Carfax) and have loved it ever since. All service records available, no accidents, no stories. It did some Audi Club DE’s in the beginning (hence the Schroth harnesses), but we bought a C4S and then a GT3 shortly thereafter and it’s been a daily driver only ever since. My office is in the Central Valley, so the last 4 years have been a series of 100 mile highway runs. Overall it’s in very good shape, and shows wear typical of a daily driver its age. I’ve listed a couple of small issues below. The only one that could be significant down the road is that the gearshift has been really stiff on a couple of occasions. It loosened up both times, and it isn’t persistent at this point. Carbon cleaned twice, and replaced the entire intake manifold recently. Pirelli PZero Silvers are less than a year old and have lots of life left.
I’m happy to take it to shop of your choice in San Francisco for PPI.

Last of the REAL Audis. One of the best motors ever made. I had the opportunity to drive a few Spykers with this engine w/o TC. Great engine. Wish I had the money sitting around. Wouldn't hesitate.

Agreed, these are amazing machines. Get the manual gearbox, high-performance naturally aspirated Audis while you can, because just like in the land of Porsche, they arent going to be around too much longer.
